My Gas Station Guardian Angel

This story is taken from a book Ask Your Guides written by Sonia Choquette (by the way, IMHO this book is GREAT!:)

Talk about Guardian Angels!

"Gloria, who worked at the precise part of the Pentagon that was hit, said that she stopped to fill her car with gas that morning and the attendant was so talkative and friendly that she spent almost 20 minutes chatting with him before she left. Those 20 minutes made her late for work and spared her life. When she went back the next day to thank him, he wasn't there... and no one knew whom she was talking about."

Some people ask "Where was God on 9/11"? God was present in many places in various forms, and I have created this page to consolidate all of these beautiful stories into one place. I love to read these stories but found that the stories are scattered everywhere in books and on the internet. I wanted people to be able to have one reference point for all these wonderful stories so this blog was born.

I would imagine one of the reasons there is not already something like this is that some people who lost loved ones may take offense to this as if I am implying their loved one was purposely not saved by God. That is not what I am saying at all! I just wanted a place to compile the beautiful stories of guardian angels at work. Your loved one's life was not worth any less than anyone else's, we are all loved by God equally. We all have a purpose here and a specific time to go, when we are done with our mission. Take comfort in the fact that they are in a happy place now with no pain, no sorrow and they're watching over you now, acting as your guardian angel :)

If you have an amazing story or know someone with an amazing story about how they were late that day or their alarm didn't go off, etc, have them contact me at By the Grace of God and I will add their stories! Email the link to this site to everyone you know who could use some uplifiting stories. I don't get paid for doing this but I do spend alot of time keeping the site updated, so if your heart compels you to donate any amount, 10% of any donations will go to The The Twin Towers Orphan Fund to help the children of the 9/11 victims.
These posts have been gathered from many sources including books, the Internet and word of mouth. If you see an error or for some reason want a posting removed, just email me at But For the Grace of God
